Looking for a DSP (Direct Support Professional) to work 10 hours per weekends. Hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-2pm.
Location:
Ozone Park, NY 11420 NY 11364. DSP must be able to work with a client that needs assistance with wheelchair and is diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and has a tube-fed diet. Responsibilities Respite and Comhab Services:
Provide relief support for caregivers. Help client achieve success at home and in various environments. Engage client in enjoyable and meaningful activities that enhance their growth and development. Supporting individuals in achieving their chosen personalized outcomes and stated goals. Providing assistance, services and supports to promote independence in daily living activities within the residence. Application and Resume Assistance To engage in activities that will contribute to the individual's success in securing and keeping an integrated job. Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Strong communication skills with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Passion for working with children and relevant experience in the field.
