I am a 39‑year‑old male, wheelchair‑bound with Cerebral Palsy, and I have limited use of one hand , so this position involves hands‑on assistance and acting as my "hands and arms" throughout the day. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, is comfortable with personal care, and loves spending time outdoors — especially at Webster Pond , where much of the workday will take place. Position Overview The Personal Assistant will support me with mobility, personal care, transportation, and job duties at multiple locations. This is an active, engaging role that involves both direct support and community‑based work. Primary Responsibilities Assist with daily operations at Webster Pond , including: Customer interaction Light paperwork General support with daily activities Assist with job duties at an additional work location Provide personal care support, including: Lifting Feeding Changing of adult depends Drive me to and from locations using my accessible van Maintain a dependable, professional, and positive presence Requirements Must enjoy working outdoors and interacting with the public Comfortable providing hands‑on physical assistance Ability to lift Valid driver's license Clean criminal background Willingness to assist with personal care tasks Must enroll with RCIL (they will serve as the employer of record and issue paychecks) Compensation & Schedule $16.00 per hour 401(k) included Primarily nights and weekends Occasional fill‑in shifts and some holidays appreciated
