Direct Support Professional (EE-DL)

1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed - Syracuse (EE - DL) A 33-year-old male is looking for a DSP in the Syracuse area to support him to be more independent, and to maintain/improve heathier choices at home and or in the community. David is a friendly man, who just recently move into a brand-new apartment in the Syracuse area. He has a great sense of humor and loves animals. He enjoys playing video games, and his two pets. The ideal candidate has a great sense of humor, but dislikes being told or instructed what to do, but is willing to explore new activities in the community. This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services. at the agency.

Hours and days of work:

Flexible any day from 10-5pm Starting pay: Starting pay is $18.50/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.

Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to work independently in the person's home and/or community. Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred. New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance are required; acceptable driving record required.
