Direct Support Professional (MD-DH) (59847) Hot Job Syracuse - Syracuse , NY 13205 Apply Overview Salary Range $18.50 - $20.50 Hourly Position Type Per Diem Education Level None Apply Direct Support Professional(MD-DH) Self-Direction DSP - Syracuse NY Area (Job #MD-DH) A 22-year-old male in the City of Syracuse is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist him with skills for independent living, being active in his community, and interact with other members in the community. He enjoys going into the community for shopping, getting lunch, and grocery shopping. He also enjoys going to parks to walk and practicing baseball for his team, the Challengers. He would like to try new activities in the community. The ideal candidate is active, willing to participate in activities along with him, engaging and willing to travel to different locations. This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services. at the agency.
Hours and days of work:
Thursday and Fridays 9-2pm Starting pay Ch 1; Starting pay is $18.50/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.
Location:
Syracuse, NY Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to work independently in the person's home and/or community. Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred. New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community. EOE Qualifications Must have a valid drivers license Effective communication and organizational skills required. Flexibility with assignments and schedule required. Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time. Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by
ARISE/EFR'S
