Summary As a Personal Care Assistant at Buffalo Homecare, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with daily activities and personal care needs. This position is essential for helping individuals maintain their dignity and independence in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment. Support clients with mobility and transportation needs as required. Administer medication reminders and assist with basic health monitoring. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client progress and needs. Requirements Experience in assisted living or personal care preferred. Knowledge of senior care practices and dementia care techniques is a plus. Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals in need of assistance. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and families.
