Job Description
Seeking direct support professional 3-4 hours per day, 3- 5days per week to work with an adult female on the autism spectrum, in her White Plains, NY apartment, located convenient to public transportation. Weekday hours starting at 3pm with weekend hours flexible. Responsibilities to include making shopping lists for food and household/personal items needed, as well as shopping for same, budgeting, assistance in healthy menu planning and light cooking, fostering conversational and social skills, and overseeing light household chores and laundry. Facilitate interaction with community including going to restaurants, gym, movies, and other recreational activities. Hourly wages of $28.
