Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, personalized care to individuals in their homes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients by providing essential support with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional well-being. As a Home Health Aide, you will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote independence and enhance quality of life through attentive and respectful caregiving. Duties Assist with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed precisely. Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment to support overall well-being. Work with individuals with disabilities or those requiring long-term care in home or community settings to foster independence and safety. Experience Prior experience in home health care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or long-term care environments is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to perform patient observation accurately and respond promptly to changing conditions. Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and vital signs measurement. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia enhances your ability to provide tailored care. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality and proper handling of medical records. Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as hospice care training or catheter care are advantageous. Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation is preferred.
