Job Description

Attention MALE DSPs! Do you love working with an awesome team in the residential setting? We have openings!! We are looking for caring, responsible, empathetic and conscientious men to work with a young man with autism in his home in ELLET. The young man goes to a day program Monday through Friday and has staff in his home 24/7 when he is not attending.
PLEASE NOTE
THIS
INDIVIDUAL MAY ONLY HAVE MALE STAFF IN HIS HOME. HE CANNOT HAVE WOMEN IN HIS HOME FOR SAFETY REASONS.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with developmental disabilities with behavioral challenges, but we will train a person who is genuinely interested.
Qualifications include:
Ability to pass a background check (required) Valid Driver's License with 4 or fewer points, along with a car on shift, car insurance and willingness to provide HPC Transportation
DODD DSP
Certification Medication Certification 1 PMT, Nysongers, or other crisis intervention certification Direct Support Professionals are people who work directly with people with developmental disabilities with the aim of assisting the individual to obtain the best quality of life they can.
