Full Job Description Job Title:
Direct Support Professional Duties:
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home or community-based setting
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
  • Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans
  • Support individuals in developing and maintaining social skills and community integration
  • Assist with transportation to appointments, outings, and recreational activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and individual progress
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism, dementia, or other special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening
