Job Summary As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in their homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to enhancing the quality of life for those in need of home community care. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Help with household tasks including laundry, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Monitor and record vital signs as needed. Administer medication according to prescribed schedules. Assist clients with mobility and physical exercises. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding client needs and changes in condition. Skills Knowledge of home community care practices. Experience or training in dementia care techniques. Familiarity with medical terminology and basic healthcare systems. Proficiency in taking vital signs accurately. Ability to perform catheter care when required. Certification in CPR and first aid is preferred. Competence in medication administration protocols. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients.
