Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those with various needs, including those with developmental disabilities and dementia. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Assist with household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. Support clients in engaging in social activities and maintaining independence. Document client progress and report any changes in condition to healthcare professionals. Work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities or other disabilities. Experience Previous experience in home health care or long-term care settings is preferred. Familiarity with dementia care practices is a plus. Skills in medication administration and understanding of care systems are beneficial. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly valued. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
