Afternoon Team Lead (Direct Support Professional Lead) Full-Time | 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM | $17.00 per Hour Lead with Purpose. Make an Impact. Change Lives. Legacy Caregivers LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Afternoon Team Lead to provide leadership and direct support services for an adult with developmental disabilities who presents with significant behavioral needs. This position is ideal for a strong leader who can maintain structure, provide guidance to team members, and confidently support an individual requiring consistency, accountability, and a high level of care. We are looking for someone who is calm under pressure, highly professional, and committed to delivering exceptional services while helping lead a successful support team. Schedule Afternoon Shift 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM Full-Time Position Consistent Schedule Additional hours may be available based on agency needs Position Responsibilities Provide direct care and support services to an individual with developmental disabilities. Provide direct care and support services to same individual qho requires insulin. Obtain Med 3 Cert if needed and administer insulin under nursing oversight. Implement behavioral support strategies and follow established care plans. Assist with medication administration. Support community engagement and daily living activities. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Serve as a leader and role model for direct support staff. Assist with staff training, coaching, and accountability. Communicate effectively with management regarding client progress, concerns, incidents, and staffing needs. Promote a safe, structured, and positive environment for both the individual served and team members. Minimum Qualifications ✅ Minimum of 1 year of Team Lead, Supervisor, or Management experience in a group home setting ✅ Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities ✅ Experience working with behavioral challenges and intervention strategies ✅ Current Medication Administration Certification (Med Del) ✅ Current CPR/First Aid Certification ✅ Valid Driver's License ✅ Reliable Vehicle ✅ Active Auto Insurance ✅ High School Diploma or GED ✅ Ability to pass all required background checks The Ideal Candidate Demonstrates strong leadership and decision-making abilities Maintains professionalism during challenging situations Has excellent communication and organizational skills Understands the importance of consistency and accountability Is dependable, motivated, and team-oriented Has a passion for serving individuals with developmental disabilities Why Join Legacy Caregivers?
