Direct Support Professional Requirements:
  • 18+•Highschool Diploma/GED•BCI/FBI Approval•Drivers License•Medication Administration Certified (Classes available)
Duties:
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care
  • Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and promoting independence
  • Document and maintain accurate records of services provided
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
Skills:
  • Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care to individuals with diverse needs
  • HIPAA:
    Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Medication administration: Proficiency in administering medications according to prescribed guidelines
  • Senior care: Experience in providing care for elderly individuals, including assistance with mobility, personal hygiene, and meal preparation
  • Home care: Familiarity with providing care in a home setting, including maintaining a safe environment and assisting with household tasks
  • Lift:
    Ability to safely lift and transfer individuals using proper body mechanics and assistive devices as needed
  • Meal preparation: Skill in preparing nutritious meals that meet dietary restrictions or preferences We are seeking compassionate individuals who are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
