Direct Support Professional Requirements:
- 18+•Highschool Diploma/GED•BCI/FBI Approval•Drivers License•Medication Administration Certified (Classes available)
Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care
- Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and promoting independence
- Document and maintain accurate records of services provided
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
Skills:
- Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care to individuals with diverse needs
HIPAA:
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information- Medication administration: Proficiency in administering medications according to prescribed guidelines
- Senior care: Experience in providing care for elderly individuals, including assistance with mobility, personal hygiene, and meal preparation
- Home care: Familiarity with providing care in a home setting, including maintaining a safe environment and assisting with household tasks
Lift:
