Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance to patients in their homes
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel
  • Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed
  • Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
  • Will train for specific positions
Experience:
  • BSP (Behavior Support Plans), Restrictive Measures, Trauma Informed Care
  • Previous experience in DODD, home health care, and/or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with hospice care, nursing homes, and memory care is a plus
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of medical procedures
  • Ability to handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Experience with tube feeding, insulin, medication administration, and other specialized care techniques is beneficial
Skills:
(Must Have)
  • Experience working with People with Developmental Disabilities
  • CPR, First Aid, DODD Training Cert., Background check, Driver Lic., High School/GED diploma, and other Certifications/Transcripts/Training welcomed, Reliable Vehicle
  • Compassionate and caring nature
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules
  • Dsp experience 14.00-16.50
  • Manager experience, up to 18.
