Washington location. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or those requiring memory care, ensuring they live fulfilling, safe, and comfortable lives. Your dedication will help promote independence, dignity, and well-being for those you serve. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a supportive and dynamic environment. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and comfort Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and document all care activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease through memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and wheelchairs safely to support mobility needs Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and assist residents during meal times while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards Engage residents in social activities, recreational programs, and community outings to foster socialization and mental stimulation Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning common areas and resident rooms Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred Certification or training in first aid is required; CPR certification is preferred Experience with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and behavior management techniques is desirable Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs and provide compassionate personal care in a group home or long-term care setting Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges Valid driver's license for transportation duties if required; experience driving residents safely is advantageous Join us in making a positive impact by providing dedicated support that enhances quality of life for our residents.
