In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance and care to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring they receive the support needed to live fulfilling, independent lives. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will help foster a safe, engaging environment where clients can thrive. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve while developing your skills in healthcare and social support. 20 hours/week Mon Tues Wed Thurs Fri 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm or 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm Responsibilities Provide patient monitoring and observation to ensure safety and well-being Document client progress and any changes in condition while adhering to HIPAA regulations Engage clients in social activities, recreational programs, and community outings to promote socialization and independence Transport client into the community/Dr appointments Requirements Must meet all Qualifications Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred. Background in caregiving, home health, assisted living, or long-term care is advantageous. Up to date DSP certificate is required Up to date First Aid and CPR certificate is required. Familiarity with patient care techniques including heavy lifting and patient observation is essential. Ability to prepare meals that meet dietary restrictions as needed. Must be 18+ years old Must have reliable vehicle Valid drivers license and valid car insurance 5 point or less on driving record Must have High School Diploma/G.E.D or college transcripts Background check required A compassionate approach towards individuals requiring support in their daily lives.
