Direct Support Professional -Multiple Areas ThriveWell Care LLC Cleveland, OH Job Details Part-time | Full-time $16 - $18 an hour 18 hours ago Benefits Paid training Mileage reimbursement Paid orientation Referral program Qualifications CPR Certification Patient monitoring Caregiving Housekeeping assistance Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, aging needs, or other health challenges . This full-time position starts at 7 am, Monday through Friday, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents' lives through personalized assistance and care. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting independence, safety, and well-being while adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), Provide medication administration and monitor vital signs in accordance with care plans Assist with meal planning in compliance with dietary requirements Observe and document residents' conditions, behaviors, and progress, reporting any concerns promptly Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and sanitation Implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs, including dementia, Alzheimer's, or autism care Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of all resident information Participate in ongoing training including CPR, First Aid, and other certifications as required for patient safety Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings preferred Knowledge of patient care techniques including assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and patient monitoring Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is required Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or memory care needs preferred Strong observational skills for patient safety and condition monitoring Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience when working with vulnerable populations Ability to adhere to HIPAA guidelines ensuring privacy and confidentiality of resident information This role offers an enriching environment where your caregiving skills can positively impact lives daily. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
