Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to join our team. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider
  • Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality
  • May work with individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with memory care needs or dementia
Qualifications:
  • Valid certification as a Home Health Aide or completion of a recognized training program, OR 1 year of verifiable employment as caregiver under direction of a nurse.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
  • Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
