Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Home Health Aide (HHA), where your compassion and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients receiving home and community-based care. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance to individuals with diverse needs, promoting independence and well-being in their own homes. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure safe, respectful, and high-quality care for each patient. This paid position offers an opportunity to work closely with healthcare professionals and gain valuable experience in the growing field of home health services. Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track patient health status accurately Support medication administration following prescribed instructions while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality Observe and report changes in patient condition, including cognitive or physical decline, especially in cases involving dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory care needs Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, wound care, and hospice support under supervision of nursing staff Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding if needed Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment to promote overall health and comfort Skills Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in assisted living environments Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for accurate documentation of patient care Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to home health settings Ability to perform patient observation with keen attention to detail and safety protocols Excellent caregiving skills combined with compassionate communication tailored to seniors or individuals with disabilities CPR certification and knowledge of emergency response procedures for urgent situations Competence in meal preparation and light household chores to support overall patient well-being Join us if you're passionate about providing exceptional home health care that empowers individuals to live comfortably and safely in their own homes. Pay:
