Responsibilities:

Provide personalized support to individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living activities. Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and medication management. Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Encourage social interaction and community engagement through various activities. Document client progress and report any changes in behavior or condition. Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients at all times. Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Attend training sessions and staff meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; certification in Direct Support or related field preferred. Previous experience in caregiving or support roles is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others. Basic knowledge of safety and hygiene practices in caregiving. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
