Direct Support Professional

Helpin Hands LLC is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community-based settings.

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

PAID TRAINING PROVIDED DSP EXPERIENCE IS HIGHLY PREFERRED WITH CERTIFICATIONS

Position Requirements:

Willingness to learn and follow DODD regulations

MUST HAVE

Reliable transportation

MUST HAVE

Valid driver's license & active car insurance

ONLY HAVE 2ND & 3RD SHIFTS & YOU HAVE TO WORK EVERY OTHER WEEKEND...NO EXCEPTIONS

Ability to pass background checks per Ohio/DODD standards Preferred (Not Required): Prior DSP or caregiving experience Medication Administration Certification (Category 1) CPR & First Aid Completed DODD trainings

PAY BASED ON CERTIFICATIONS

Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities Assist with daily living skills, personal care, and routines Complete daily documentation and follow service plans Promote a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment Work as part of a team and communicate effectively

Ideal Candidate:

Compassionate, dependable, and patient Coachable and open to training Comfortable working evenings or overnight shifts
