We are looking for DSPs who understand the importance of providing quality care, maintaining professional documentation, and supporting individuals in living meaningful lives in their communities. Due to the nature of this position, only applicants with verifiable Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience will be contacted for interviews. Applicants without at least one year of DSP experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities will not be considered. If you are looking for a position where you can sit on your phone all shift, this is not the job for you. Available Positions Full-Time Evening DSP (1 Position)

Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM 40

Hours Per Week Pay:

$18.00 per hour Full-Time Flexible DSP (1 Position)

Schedule:

36 Hours Per Week Schedule based on client needs Weekend availability is required Exact schedule will be discussed during the interview process

Pay:

$18.00 per hour Primary Responsibilities Provide direct support and supervision to adults with developmental disabilities Assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and daily routines Support community integration and meaningful activities Transport individuals to appointments, activities, shopping, and community outings Follow Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and support strategies Maintain a safe, clean, and structured home environment Communicate professionally with supervisors, guardians, families, and team members Transportation Requirement This position requires transporting individuals served by IES.

Applicants must:

Have a valid driver's license Maintain a safe driving record Carry current vehicle insurance Have a reliable personal vehicle Be willing to use their personal vehicle for transportation when needed Mileage reimbursement is provided in accordance with company policy. Documentation & Compliance Expectations Documentation is a critical part of this position.

DSPs are expected to:

Complete detailed and accurate daily shift notes Document ISP goals, supports provided, behaviors, and interventions Complete incident reports and required logs when necessary Follow all Ohio DODD documentation standards Submit documentation accurately and on time Strong documentation skills are required. Work Expectations This is an active position requiring engagement throughout the shift.

Stay engaged with the individuals they support Follow through on assigned responsibilities Complete household tasks and daily routines Take initiative without constant supervision Provide professional, person-centered support This is not a sit-and-watch-your-phone position. Minimum Qualifications Required Minimum 1 year of Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience required Experience must be in developmental disabilities services and include documentation responsibilities Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities Experience implementing ISP goals and completing daily service documentation Must live within 25 minutes of Medina, Ohio Reliable transportation Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Reliable personal vehicle Willingness to transport individuals using your personal vehicle Ability to pass all Ohio DODD background checks High School Diploma or GED Reliable attendance and punctuality Applications from candidates without DSP experience will not be considered.
