Home Health Aide

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
• Administer medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as meal preparation and laundry
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
• Follow care plans and document patient progress
• Adhere to all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices
• Familiarity with senior care and assisted living principles
• Ability to lift and move patients safely and comfortably
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Compassionate and patient-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
