Direct Support Professional

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. DSPs play a vital role in promoting independence, ensuring health and safety, and supporting individuals in achieving their personal goals in both home and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and supervision to individuals based on person-centered plans Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and agency policy (if certified) Support individuals in community integration and participation in activities Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided Implement behavior support plans and promote positive interactions Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment Communicate effectively with team members, families, and supervisors Report incidents, changes in condition, or concerns per agency policy

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred but not required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass background checks and meet DODD requirements CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Medication Administration certification (or willingness to obtain)
