Job Description

Home Health Aide (HHA)/Caregiver Sidney, OH 45365 $17
  • $21 an hour
  • Part-time, Full-time $17
  • $21 an hour
  • Part-time, Full-time We are currently hiring for several positions in the area of Shelby and Auglaize counties.
We have FT and PT. When you apply please specify what type of position you are searching for!
Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct client care within the comfort of their home
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Remind clients to take medications as needed
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Document care notes and updates accurately and timely
  • Light housekeeping
Skills:
  • Experienced caregiver/HHA/STNA preferred but not required
  • CPR certified (or willing to become certified)
  • Experience working with individuals in home health or within a nursing home setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of basic personal care and ADL's (activities of daily living)
  • Ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care to seniors
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
