Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Home Health Aide, where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance to individuals in their homes, supporting their health, safety, and well-being. Your expertise in patient observation, medication management, and assisting with daily activities will help promote independence and comfort for those under your care. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with healthcare professionals and deliver high-quality home health services that truly matter. Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure patient stability. Administer medications accurately following medical instructions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Support patients with specialized needs such as dementia care, Alzheimer's care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Operate medical equipment including Hoyer lifts, catheters, and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems for documentation purposes. Perform light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment conducive to healing and comfort. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare providers to update medical records and ensure continuity of care across home & community settings. Experience Prior experience in home health care or assisted living environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or memory-related conditions such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Long-term care experience in nursing homes or hospice settings is advantageous. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required; additional certifications such as medication administration or catheter care are a plus. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation. Ability to work independently in live-in employment or flexible schedules while maintaining professionalism and compassion. Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
