In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance and care to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring they receive the support needed to live fulfilling, independent lives. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will help foster a safe, engaging environment where clients can thrive. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve while developing your skills in healthcare and social support. Client is an adult female. No behavioral issues 15 hours/week Duties Support clients in community integration and social activities, fostering independence. Document client progress and any changes in condition while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Engage clients in social activities, recreational programs, and community outings to promote socialization and Transport client into the community/Dr appointments Qualifications Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred. Background in caregiving, home health, assisted living, or long-term care is advantageous. Up to date DSP certificate is required Up to date First Aid and CPR certification is required. Familiarity with patient care techniques including heavy lifting and patient observation is essential. Ability to prepare meals that meet dietary restrictions as needed. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Must be 18+ years old High school diploma/G.E.D or college transcripts required Valid drivers license and valid car insurance Must have reliable vehicle 5 points or less on driving record Background and drug check required A compassionate approach towards individuals requiring support in their daily lives.
