  • Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our mission driven team.
You'll help individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities live full, empowered, and independent lives.
Pay:
$17.00 per hour
Locations:
Lucas County Available Schedules:
Adult Day Service
  • 4 weekdays 8 AM
  • 4 PM and every other weekend 2nd shift OR 3rd shift Residential.
Responsibilities include assisting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities live their best lives: Provide respectful, person-centered support in daily living tasks Drive a transportation route Assist with personal care: ambulation, bathing, grooming, toileting, etc. Engage individuals in social, recreational, and community activities Support individuals to build independent living skills Prepare meals, cleaning, laundry, and household tasks Transport individuals safely to and from day programs and social outings Encourage personal growth and achievement of goals Accurately document activities, incidents, and client progress Communicate professionally with team members, families, and clients Participate in required paid training and team meetings Qualifications you need to thrive in this role: High school diploma or GED Must be 18 years or older Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (fewer than 6 points) Proof of auto insurance Ability to pass BCI/FBI background checks and required screenings Perks & Benefits that are offered: Opportunity for overtime Get paid to sleep for select location/hours Paid time off Attendance bonus 401(k) with matching Life & disability insurances Car repair fund Car rental Pay advances Local Employee Resource Network (Employee assistance program) Referral bonus up to $500 per referral Comprehensive health insurance (medical, employer paid dental and vision)
