Job Description
Overview We are looking for caregivers that are willing to work in the next upcoming month. Our grand opening is next month and are looking for qualified caregivers. Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. In this vital role, you will provide attentive, respectful, and professional assistance to clients in their homes or community settings. Your dedication will help promote independence, comfort, and well-being for those with diverse health needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. This position offers an engaging opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care while fostering trusting relationships and enhancing quality of life. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Medication reminders following proper protocols and standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to accurately document care activities and patient progress Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or confusion, especially for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed Requirements Proven experience in home health care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes or long-term care environments Pass Background Check Pass Drug Sceening Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication skills with clients and team members Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is highly desirable Strong understanding of HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentiality at all times Physical ability to lift patients using Hoyer lifts or assist with transfers safely; capable of standing, walking, bending and performing light cleaning tasks Compassionate attitude coupled with patience and adaptability to meet diverse client needs Be punctual, and reliable Be available attend all required trainings and stay compliant with requirements and certifications/ licenses Reliable transportation; if using own car- must provide proof of insurance Join us in providing exceptional home health services that empower individuals to live healthier, happier lives.
