Job Overview As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in their homes or community settings. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with daily living activities, monitoring their health, and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a dedication to enhancing the quality of life for those you serve, particularly seniors and individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance ( bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobilizing support). Assist with daily living activities and promote client independence. Offer companionship and emotional support. Support clients with medication reminders as directed. Assist with housekeeping , meal preparation , and errands . Ensure the safety and well-being of each client. Maintain accurate care documentation and follow care plans.
