Job Description
We are seeking a Home Health Aide to join our team! Positions available are part time. Must be flexible and able to work 1 or 2 week days, and/or a 5-10pm shift during the week and/ or an occassional weekend day or overnight. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in their homes that have developmental and/or physical disabilities in accordance with an established care plan. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks
- Follow care plans and document provided services
- Transportation as needed
- Assist individuals with mobility and exercises as needed
- We serve Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana Counties Skills
- Proven working experience as home health aide or other related field
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to train in CPR/First Aid/AED and using a Hoyer Lift
- Experience in providing compassionate care to individuals in need
- Hard working and able to follow directions
