  • Experienced Habilitation Training Specialist(HTS), Training will be provided for the right candidate. Assist clients with Daily Living and community outings. Must be a self starter.
  • Understand and work with individuals who have physical or mental issues
  • HTS will assist with caring for individuals cognitive disorder by providing personal assistance, emotional support and personal care.
  • Collaborate with community resources in development of employment planning
  • Complete and maintain appropriate documentation
  • Place clients in jobs
  • Work under time constraint deadlines
  • Perform job coaching tasks
  • Use software tools including Microsoft Software
  • Arrange for on-site job coaching, to help clients adapt to work.
  • Maintain close contact with clients during job training and placements to resolve problems and evaluate placement adequacy.
  • Monitor and record clients progress to ensure that goals and objectives are met.
Specific Skill Requirements and Essential Job Functions:
High School diploma, attended college Excellent written and verbal communication skills Organizational skills a must Ability to conduct mock interviews Ability to match candidates with job openings Ability to collaborate with employers and candidates Reliable Car, A People person, Able to work with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF files.
