Job Description

Haven Home Health & Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dependable Hospice Aide to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide personal care and supportive services to hospice patients in their homes and care facilities, helping them maintain comfort, dignity, and quality of life during their end-of-life journey. Position Details Full-Time Competitive Pay Mileage Reimbursement Flexible Scheduling Supportive Clinical Team Benefits Full-time employees are eligible for: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Holiday Pay Mileage Reimbursement Responsibilities As a Hospice Aide, you will: Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance Assist patients with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning Support patients with meal preparation and feeding as needed Assist with toileting and elimination needs Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the clinical team Record vital signs, intake/output, and other observations as directed Perform light housekeeping tasks related to patient care Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient visits Participate in care conferences and team meetings as assigned Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety at all times Qualifications Current Oklahoma Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required Previous hospice, home health, CNA, or direct patient care experience preferred Valid driver's license Reliable transportation and current auto insurance Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently in patient homes Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach to care Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to assist with patient transfers and mobility Ability to travel throughout the service area Why Join Haven?
