Job Type:

Part-Time AIM Supports is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and creative female Direct Support Professional (DSP) who has a passion for art and enjoys drawing, creative projects, and engaging in meaningful activities with others. This position is ideal for someone who loves using creativity to build connections, encourage self-expression, and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living full and inclusive lives. Responsibilities Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Support individuals in community integration through social activities, appointments, and outings. Implement individualized support plans while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA. Complete daily shift notes documenting services provided, progress, and goals. Support individuals in developing independent living skills, including light housekeeping tasks, by modeling and encouraging participation. Encourage independence by engaging individuals in meaningful, skill-building activities. Monitor and report changes in physical, emotional, or behavioral conditions to supervisors. Qualifications Previous experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not required. Must pass ODDS required background check. Ability to follow support plans and work as part of a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients, families, and coworkers. Valid driver's license with a good driving record and current auto insurance (must be maintained). CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training provided by AIM if needed).
