I am seeking a reliable, upbeat Morning Assistant to help a vibrant wheelchair user (me!) get my day started. This is a impactful role perfect for a confidently competent person who wants to make a direct difference in someone's life within a cozy, welcoming home atmosphere. No prior professional caregiving experience is required—if you have a caring nature and a willingness to learn, I will gladly show you everything you need to know! Me and the Job I am an active woman who sustained a spinal cord injury a while back. I use a wheelchair and need an awesome assistant to help me with the daily essentials to get my morning rolling. Once our morning routine is done, if I don't have meetings, we will have a couple of hours to collaborate and hang out! That might look like tackling an organization project together, running errands, heading to appointments, or meeting up with friends. What You'll Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities) While the environment is relaxed, your attention to detail ensures my morning runs smoothly and safely.

Core tasks include:

Personal Care Support:

Assisting with morning Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including showering, dressing, grooming, bathroom assistance, and safe mobility/transfer support (you don't do any lifting for this).

Meal Preparation:

Whipping up a nutritious breakfast and helping with light meal planning or prep for the day. Keeping the

Space Cozy:

Performing light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe environment (tidying personal spaces, doing a load of laundry, and keeping common areas clear).

Companion Care:

Providing reliable, respectful companionship, social engagement, and a positive start to the day. The Vibe We try to keep it lighthearted around here! It is a mellow, positive space—perfect for chasing away the gloomier winter weather. You will be sharing the space with me, a cute goofball of a dog, lots of plants, and a great backyard (my absolute favorite place to be when the weather permits).

Qualifications & Requirements Heart & Attitude:

Empathy, strong communication skills, reliability, and a naturally positive energy.

Physical Capability:

Ability to safely assist with transfers (not manual) and perform the physical aspects of personal care.

Logistics:

Must pass a background check, possess a valid driver's license, and have a clean driving record.

Bonus Points:

Any baseline knowledge of home health care, or certifications like CPR/First Aid, are a great plus, but definitely not a dealbreaker!

Position Details Schedule:

3 mornings a week (4 hours per shift), with potential opportunities for additional hours.

Compensation:

$20-$22/hour (W-2 position).
