Job Description

Job Summary As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide direct care and supervision to children in a residential home setting. You will help residents develop daily living skills, participate in community activities, build healthy relationships, and achieve personal goals while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities Provide supervision and support in a 24-hour residential setting Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household routines Support residents in developing independence and life skills Transport residents to appointments, recreational activities, and community outings Implement individualized support plans and behavioral support strategies Maintain accurate documentation and daily notes Assist with medication administration following training and program procedures Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment Communicate effectively with team members, families, case managers, and other professionals Respond appropriately to emergencies and ensure resident safety at all times Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to pass required background checks Strong communication and problem-solving skills Reliable, professional, and compassionate Experience working with children, developmental disabilities, behavioral health, or human services is preferred but not required Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training Why Join Our Team? Pay:
Up to $21.00 per hour
