General Roles & Responsibilities:

Skills training on Activities of Daily Living such as budgeting, cleaning ECT. Daily assisting with personal care needs Provide transportation and accompany individuals to medical appointments Assisting individuals in attending/participating in community events Community outings Creating a positive and safe environment Encouraging and Leading towards Independence!

Qualifications:

Personal Vehicle (willing to use for work) Valid Drivers License Clean driving history last 5 years Strong communication skills Willing to assist/perform basic housekeeping duties such as cooking, laundry, dishes, etc. Tech savvy

Ideal Candidate Temperament:

Enthusiastic Driven Friendly Good sense of humor Pay Range $20 to $26 depending on experience and training. We provide Paid Training which consists of three in-person training segments paired with 14 hours of state mandated Workday online trainings. One day training on our systems (approx. 6 hours) and two days of on-the-job DSP training at a client's house (approx. 10-12 hours). All Workday trainings are done in our office between 8am and 3pm. This position does involve intermittent driving, therefore a Current & Valid Driver's License, Auto Insurance & a Reliable Vehicle are required to perform job duties & assignments. Must be able to pass a criminal background check with current ID (such as a Passport or Social Security Card)
