We are seeking responsible, caring, and compassionate direct support professionals to join our team. The ideal job candidate will be highly dependable and have a passion for helping those with intellectual disabilities, autism, mental health, and behavioral health needs to live a more fulfilled and happy life. Working with the individuals in a Residential Treatment Facility, you will assess his/her needs and tend to them accordingly with the goal of fostering a positive, encouraging environment and supporting individuals with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. You will assist individuals in becoming more integrated in their communities by maximizing their strengths, interests, and abilities. Responsibilities also include daily living activities as needed, planning activities, supervision of individuals, documentation, passing medications, crisis management, planning therapeutic activities, etc. You will provide behavioral and therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a Master's level Therapist. The First Street Residential Treatment Facility is a Joint Commission accredited home for adolescents, ages 12-18, in need of therapy to address mental health issues and behavioral concerns in a strengths-based environment in order to return to their home community. In the structured environment, highly-trained clinicians are certified to provide specialized counseling on an individualized basis as needed. EDUCATION and/or
