Direct Support Professional

Job Summary Elaine's House is currently hiring Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential/home setting. This position involves assisting individuals with daily living activities, community participation, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Job Responsibilities Assist individuals with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, hygiene, and household tasks Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with transportation to appointments and community activities Administer medications (if trained) Complete daily documentation and progress notes Follow individual support plans Maintain a safe and supportive environment Job Requirements High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Ability to pass background check and clearances Ability to complete required training Experience in caregiving, healthcare, or direct support preferred but not required Hours may vary, currently client needs 11:00 AM-7:00 PM possibly 10:00 AM-6 PM Monday-Friday If you are compassionate, reliable, and enjoy helping others, we would love to have you join our team.
