Role:
As a Direct Support Professional at Quality Life Human Services, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. Join our dedicated team in Coplay, PA, and make a meaningful impact by providing support and encouragement every day.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities, fostering independence and personal growth. Implement individualized support plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Facilitate community engagement and social activities to promote inclusion. Administer medication and monitor health conditions as required. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and incidents. Collaborate with team members and families to ensure consistent care and communication. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred. Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Experience in the healthcare or social services field is a plus, but not required. We will train. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Background check clearance as per state regulations.
