As a Compassionate Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care - Central PA Office, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to our clients. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our team to enrich the lives of those we serve. Working on-site in York, Pennsylvania, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact in your client's daily lives while fostering a supportive work environment.Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate, personalized non-medical support in clients' homes. Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation. Encourage social interaction and engage clients in meaningful conversations. Administer medication reminders and maintain a safe environment for clients. Document client progress and communicate effectively with family members and other staff.Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients and their families. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs. Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.Bonus If You:
Have experience working with the elderly or disabled. Possess a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation. Can work day shifts during the week.Employment Type & Availability:
This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with availability needed Monday through Sunday.Location:
