Key Responsibilities:
Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores Support clients in developing independence and life skills through personalized training and encouragement Monitor and document clients' progress, behaviors, and health status accurately Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with team members and family members Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all clients Accompany clients to community outings, appointments, and recreational activities Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or behavioral challenges
Skills and Qualifications:
Associate and bachelor's degree Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards individuals with disabilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods as needed We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. Requirements:
The applicant must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical. A valid Pennsylvania Driver's License is required. DHS FBI Fingerprint, PA Childline, and PA Criminal clearance are required. Perseus House is an EOE
