Job Description

Are you a CNA or similarly credentialed and experienced support provider? Looking for a unique position that enhances another person's life?
Schedule:
Full time Monday through Friday 8am-3pm shift Part time Monday-Friday 3pm-8pm shift Opportunity available in Glen Mills, PA. Seeking a kind, calm, confident and reliable person to serve as a team member (2:1 medical related care). This job consists of supporting a lovely young woman with acute physical challenges. You and your teammates would support this young lady in all her daily physical needs, such as assisting her with eating all meals, hygiene needs, and all medical related needs. It is very important that the health and safety of this young woman is prioritized. The employee is also responsible for service documentation and various reporting obligations. The type and amount of assistance, support and guidance required are decided through reciprocal person-centered planning processes. An ideal candidate will be able to transfer between 50-100Ibs, have experience working with the ID population, as well as be willing to follow all CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19 and the flu, as this young woman is a high risk for contracting illnesses.
Expectations of Employee:
Participate in all required training and meetings. Complete and submit daily service notes and timekeeping documents. Communicate promptly and in advance regarding all scheduling concerns. Report any health and safety concerns appropriately that arise when working with the participant. Health and safety priority #1. Preferred C.N.A. Certification but may consider bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Gerontology, Special Education or Social Work or NADD Competency Based Certification with relevant experience Other desired qualifications include: Direct experience with the ID population as well as attention to detail of medical requirements. Understanding of, and ability to apply the values of empowerment and collaboration. Must have driver's license and access to reliable transportation, meet all state minimum safety, registration, and insurance requirements to get to work as scheduled Provide references upon request.
Pay:
$27.00 - $30.00 per hour Application Question(s): Are you fully vaccinated against most recent flu season?
