Your role will be to support him by providing transportation in the community, support for developing independent living and working on basic computer skills. This is a summer position until he goes back to school. He a kind young man planning to work a summer job. You would pick him up from work, provide transportation home, provide companionship, support with learning independent living and basic computer skills. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day through hands-on caregiving and personalized support.

Location:

Allison Park, PA Transportation reimbursement available $20.00 per hour. Responsibilities Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as, community engagement, kitchen skills, communication, computer skills. Assist with transportation from work. Provide companionship Support clients during community outings or activities, fostering social engagement and independence. Support with understanding safe kitchen practices, basic cleaning skills, learning light cooking skills. Document care activities, observations & shift tasks. Document transportation mileage & submit for reimbursement. Skills Prior experience working with individuals with support needs preferred, but not required. Knowledge of individual care techniques & support Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Strong observational skills for documenting monitoring successes or needs. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, families, and healthcare professionals while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Car needed with clear driving record Backgrond check required.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
