Direct Support Professional DSP

Note that all FT and PT positions are required to work every other weekend. Position:

Direct Support Professional - Residential and Respite In this rewarding role as a Direct Support Professional, you will play a pivotal role in helping the individuals we support achieve a fulfilling and meaningful life. By assisting them with their daily routines, you will actively contribute to their overall well-being and quality of life. Building meaningful connections and fostering companionship will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Your interactions will be characterized by patience, compassion, and empathy as you engage with and support each individual in their unique journey. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assist our house guests in organizing their daily activities, ensuring they have a joyful and enjoyable experience. Light housekeeping, cooking, skill-building, and medication administration are among the additional duties integral to this role. Join our dedicated team and contribute to creating a nurturing and empowering environment for those we support. Qualified candidates should have experience in this field, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.

Even part-time positions have the potential for full-time hours, allowing for flexibility and the opportunity to work additional hours if desired. We currently have available hours in the Mechanicsburg and Harrisburg areas, providing you with geographical options to choose from.
