Direct Support Professional - DSP

Company Overview The Institute for Human Resources and Services is a licensed non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. Our mission is to promote the psychological, social, and educational well-being of those we serve, ensuring they live in the least restrictive environment possible. Responsibilities The IHRS is now offering a sign-on bonus of $500 to full-time employees and $250 to part-time employees after 30-days of employment! The primary responsibility is to assist adults with intellectual disabilities in their homes. Full-time and part-time positions are available. The base rate is $18 per hour and $18.50 after the training period. All training is paid. Applicants must possess a valid PA driver's license and a high school diploma or equivalency. Job duties include assistance with daily living skills, including showering, hygiene and toileting; transportation to appointments and activities; and help with household chores, such as cooking, cleaning and laundry. DSPs administer medications and receive proper training. All training is provided and paid. Eligible full-time employees receive health care, vision and dental benefits

Employees are paid on a weekly basis and direct deposit is available.
