Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, making a significant impact on their well-being. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation. Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are communicated to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences. Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety of clients at all times. Provide care for individuals with specific needs, including hospice care, long-term care, memory care, and catheter care. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health plans. Work collaboratively with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care. Qualifications Previous experience in home health, senior care, or working with people with disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of hospice care principles and practices is a plus. Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and basic medical systems is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and families. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and transferring clients safely. Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
