Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide exceptional care and support to an adult with intellectual disabilities in the home and in the community. In this vital role, you will foster a safe, respectful, and empowering environment by assisting with daily activities, monitoring health status, and promoting independence. Your energy and positive attitude will help enhance the quality of life while building a meaningful relationship based on trust and respect. Responsibilities Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) such as showering, dressing, toileting and grooming Support the individual in social activities and community outings Drive the individual to appointments, events and activities Engage in heavy lifting as needed Assist with communication including visual-gestural, sign language and use of assistive technology Provide supportive supervision to ensure safety and wellness
