Personal Care Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in home community care and a strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of those they serve. This role requires a blend of personal care skills and the ability to monitor clients health, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for clients. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Medication reminders as needed and daily physical exercise Support individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing care plans tailored to their specific needs. Offer specialized care for clients with dementia or those in hospice care, ensuring dignity and comfort throughout their care journey. Maintain a clean and safe environment in the home, adhering to hygiene standards. Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams regarding client progress and needs. Requirements Previous experience in home care or personal assistance is preferred. Knowledge of CPR and first aid is highly desirable. Highschool diploma or GED Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care. Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain confidentiality at all times.
