Responsibilities Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes to healthcare teams promptly Prepare nutritious meals aligned with care plans while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety Administer medications accurately following HIPAA guidelines and care protocols Support residents during outings and community activities to promote social interaction and independence Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and progress notes in compliance with privacy regulations Engage in ongoing training on CPR, first aid, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, autism support, hospice care, and other specialized areas to enhance your caregiving skills Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly valued Proven background in home health or home & community care environments demonstrating patient monitoring and caregiving expertise Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia-related conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and memory care needs Hands-on experience with patient care procedures including medication administration, vital signs measurement, and use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and privacy in all aspects of patient interactions Experience in long-term care settings or hospice environments is a plus Strong interpersonal skills combined with patience, empathy, and the ability to work effectively within a team dedicated to exceptional resident support Embark on a meaningful career where your dedication fuels positive change!
